NHS: Improving operating theatre utilisation. Analysing and changing the patient’s records process to improve retrieval time.
Home Office: Reducing the time asylum seekers spend in initial accommodation. Centralising & refocusing post case termination procedures, ensuring that every concluded case has its support costs stopped.
Local Government: Increase in productivity and performance from outsourced ‘Back Office’ functions.
Private sector:
Media and Publishing: Working with national and regional newspapers both in the UK and US supporting teams transition to digital technologies. Subsequent projects introduced new ways of working within warehouse and logistics, print press operations and commercial functions.
Telecoms: A number of projects for Vodafone and Libertel both in the UK and Netherlands to improve operational effectiveness. Also managed the outsourcing of the customer call centre from in-house to a third party in the city.
Field Service Engineers: A number of projects for Unysis, Honeywell and other maintenance contract companies to improve Engineer productivity, looking at scheduling, process improvement and productivity management.
Mining: Lonrho, Anglo American, ZCCM, African Barrick Gold: Operational analysis of the transport & logistics process. Introduction of TQM programs. Develop, install and training on Management Control Systems. Introduced a Statistical Process Control approach to improving metal recovery.
